Brief 2 / Communication is a Virus / Critique: Fake London Underground Stickers

I love this guerrilla campaign based around well designed stickers placed around the London Underground network.

Nobody has come forward to claim it as their project. The whole thing went viral simply from passengers seeing, taking a picture on their phones and uploading it to social network. There was no official documentation or explanation.

The project highlights the lack of social interaction on the tube, which in theory could be an incredibly sociable place. The stickers work so well because they mirror exactly the regular stickers around the train, meaning only the occasional traveller will actually stop and read them, in turn highlighting our information overload to the point of invisibility.

A nice concept delivered in a witty and clever way.
