From the texts that I've studied for the written part of COP, I've chosen and lightly edited the most suited quotations that connote a '1984' type of sinister and foreboding feeling.

Fashion generates an experience of
both image and reality.
The meanings of the things one
wears and does is part of the
performance.
Fashion unites those of a social class
& separates them from others.
A commodity is, in the first
place, an object outside of us.
One creates a new and different image
or identity simply by changing what one
wears.
A commodity is a thing that satisfies
human wants of some sort or another.
Identities are a part of a larger sense
of self.
A role identity is the character and the
role that an individual devises for theirself.
Individuals move in the direction of those
identities that reflect their values.
So soon as it steps forth as a commodity, it
is changed into something transcendent.
Is it necessarily and generally correct to assume
that self-verification produces positive effects?

From here, I've placed them into situ and worked out which sentences work well against which backgrounds. Here's what I've come up with:
The cover is based on my favourite image from the collection. Get Inside Their Minds seems apt as a calling card for the whole project. It sums up the intentions, this is unashamedly a guide to the psyche of prospective consumers.
I adapted the colour of the text to suit or contrast the image it is sitting on. I like the playful red on top of the Levi jeans, a little nod to the classic red label.
The central page spread is really successful as a centrepiece and for this I've matched the most definitive statement of the collection. The contrast in the different pieces of clothing visualise the 'change' noted in the statement.
Whilst most of the images are black and white, I injected some colour through typography to add some visual variation.
The back page echoes the front page nicely and sets the whole piece up as a very tidy publication.
