Amazingly, I found out about this great project the night after producing my first computer controlled drawing! A fantastic example of a fully fledged and thought out project that uses computer controlled drawing for a more commercial purpose.
Those is proud to present the Woodpecker, a unique drawing system that brings any surface to life. The Woodpecker draws, writes and even tweets with pens, pencil and paint.
Those sell it not as an art piece but as an instillation that companies can use to '#stoptraffic'. Generally not a fan of marketing ploys such as this but I can see the appeal of linking this up to a computer which can live draw what you're drawing on screen...
